Citizen and Community Science projects that our group runs
Our group thinks it is very important to involve the community, members of the general public and school children in the work we do. Involving the community of citizens raises awareness about important issues in ecology such as the protection of pollinator species and the need to make sure we are not creating breeding habitats for vectors or pathogens or nuisance species such as the mosquitoes. In addition citizen-scientists who are involved in such schemes can provide very valuable information to our group regarding species of interest
Our group currently runs five community or citizen science schemes. Please visit the next few pages if you wish to find out more
