Aim: This project aimed to quantify the ecosystem services provided by Akrotiri wetland, and how different drivers (including urbanisation, invasive species, and climate change) impacted these benefits to people.
Objectives:
To gain an initial understanding on the ecosystem services provided by the Akrotiri peninsula and how invasive species interfere with these services.
Focusing on pollination service and raise awareness about the importance of this service to the public. Collect data on the impacts of invasive species (plants) on pollinators with the help of citizen scientists.
